Wordpress theme for ColdHardFlash.com

Usually we do not post news about individual projects, but this remarkable work deserves a separate mentioning. ColdHardFlash is an online resource focused on Flash-animated shows produced for the television and the Web. The website is run by an Emmy nominated animation producer Aaron Simpson with many Flash artists contributing their stories and shorts.

Dizzain was tasked to create a Wordpress theme based on the mascot design by Jez Hall. Theme features a Soviet-inspired astronaut bear named 'Federov' on his way to world domination. We are big fans of ColdHardFlash.com and are very happy that Aaron chose us for the job. Go Federov!!!

Summer is almost over

Summer is coming to an end and we spent most of it sweating our behinds, canceling vacations, and breaking hearts of the loved ones with long work hours. We all have lives, but these sacrifices bring us a warm feeling of accomplishment once the work is finally over.

While 3 major projects are still in production we have some new works on the display:

NewHomeVille.com – website for a real estate agency with advanced member area, most comprehensive search and Google Mash Ups. Web site is running on Dizzain CMS.

MTC Healthcare – website for an Irish manufacturer of medical equipment which also uses Dizzain CMS as a platform. In addition to the website, MTC Healthcare ordered a complete Corporate Identity package.

Quadrant Financial Consulting – our joint project with British web design firm TSquareDesign. Dizzain was providing a CMS solution while TSquare were creating and integrating graphics.

Wordpress customization was in high demand this season. We rolled out the following blogs:

While the main site is still in production, a little Flash splash was created for CAG – Irish building and maintenance contractor.

And finally a lot of work this summer has been done for Shelton Clothing. Shelton is our long time client and a good friend. New features on the website allow customers to find the optimal fit for any piece of clothing and order a sample of the fabrics before buying.

Shelton produces high quality men's clothing with focus on everyday wardrobe. Traditional and yet stylish, Shelton Clothing carefully selects fit and materials to build confidence in men. All products are manufactured right here on the US soil and sold directly to individuals instead of big retail stores. Dizzain highly recommends Shelton clothing to any guy who does not expect clothing to overshadow his true personality.

That is it for summer. We still have projects in production and yet even more in the pipeline, but we can finally afford to take some time off and vacation season will start with the company outing at Mohegan Sun in September.

Spring is in the Air

Month of April has been very eventful for Dizzain.com with new specialists joining the company, new web sites going online in even more work added to the pipeline to keep us busy for the next few months.

Recently we have been getting more and more requests for WordPress customization so we added a new WordPress ace to our team to accommodate the ever growing demand. Also graphic designers got a new intern to look after.

Not every web site we create makes it to portfolio, but among those that did were Ridan, Art of Natural Beauty and Blissfull Beauty. Continuous updates have been done on Laptop Magazine and Bedford Communications sites with a lot of new improvements coming soon.

New Web Site for Pokeri Lehti

New York web design company Dizzain.com continues serving the needs of the world's publishing industry. Pokerilehti.fi is a new website of Pokeri Lehti, a poker magazine from Finland. Dizzain.com was responsible for creating original web design and HTML/CSS coding which was integrated into the TYPO3 content management system. Web site is good example of design work Dizzain.com can do for various platforms.

Web design from Dizzain.com offered a new and improved look to www.pokerilehti.fi and hopefully will get a good feedback from Pokeri Lehti readers.

Season’s Greetings from Dizzain.com

The end of the year is a time to celebrate accomplishments and set plans for the upcoming year. We would love to share some of them with you.

This year a number of talented web specialists joined Dizzain.com. Advanced skills of our new employees allowed us to introduce a wider range of services including SEO and Flash development as well as better serve our customers in the areas of web design.

2006 brought us many new clients and as a result lots of new web sites made by Dizzain.com emerged on the web. While expanding our clientele we maintained great relationship with our current clients, providing support and advice for further growth of their online businesses. High customer retention resulted in a number of contracts that came directly through customer referrals.

Having a great 2006 we set sail for the upcoming year with many exciting events to come. We plan to further extend our .NET and Ruby on Rails practices to provide new platforms for our E-commerce and CMS solutions. Also our graphics department will be expanding to make the World Wide Web a better place.

We are currently working on the few Web 2.0 projects which are planned to come out in the second quarter of 2007. We hope that they will find the place in your Favorites and make your life a little easier.

And finally we need to finish projects that were started in 2006 =)
